The Approach
The big picture goal with Bent’s Camp is to create a 130 year anniversary documentary that showcases the history of the location and the impact it has had on the community. Because of that, when covering this event, we decided to create a mini doc style piece instead of a hype reel in order to gather assets for the future documentary. We still set out to capture the fun atmosphere of the event but really wanted to lean on storytelling.
